LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, VA is seeking an experienced Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist (OB CST) to join a collaborative team dedicated to delivering newborns safely with the highest standards of care. You will prepare the surgical suite, assist the team during obstetric procedures, maintain a sterile field, and ensure a compassionate patient experience.

Training and mentorship are available, with predictable scheduling and on-call support to support growth in obstetric

Qualifications

• Must have Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Eligible candidates may beCSA Certified Surgical Assistant or CST Certified Surgical Technologist.
• Hours: Full time, night shift with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical suite and organize instruments, equipment, and supplies for safe, efficient procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort and safety.
• Provide instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.
