Job summary

Jackson HealthPros seeks an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to assist physicians and nurses in the operating room, ensuring patient safety by preparing the OR, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team. This role requires NBSTSA certification, BLS, and 2 years of OR tech experience; CVOR experience preferred.

Schedule is 36 hours per week with on-call support from L&D anesthesia, and a benefits package including medical, 401k, and housing assistance for

Qualifications

• NBSTSA Certified OR technologist
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as certified OR tech in surgical environment
• CVOR experience preferred (2 years)
• 2 years of surg tech experience
• Competency with c-sections and OB procedures
• Experience assisting with vaginal deliveries
• Knowledge of aseptic surgical technique and preparation of materials, supplies, and equipment for surgery

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during procedures
• Prepare the operating room and sterilize equipment
• Provide support to the surgical team
• Follow on-call requirements from L&D anesthesia
• Maintain sterile technique and safety standards
