Job summary

NorthBay Healthcare is seeking an obstetrical technician (OBT) to scrub for all OB surgeries in Labor & Delivery. The OBT also covers unit clerk functions when the clerk is unavailable, including general clerical and reception tasks.

The role requires sterile technique, readiness for obstetrical emergencies, and collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients and families while upholding the organization's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Utilizesterile technique to surgically assist physicians with procedures such as c/sections and tubal ligations.
• Functioneffectively during obstetrical emergencies.
• Prepare the surgical and delivery rooms and for assisting with patient care duties as assigned.
• Works in collaboration with the entire healthcare team to provide each patient and family member excellent customer service.
• Supportthe mission, vision, values and expectation of excellence of the organization.
