Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Surgical Technology or equivalent training.
• Specialized training in the Armed Forces or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technician; certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures and provide instruments and supplies efficiently.
• Prepare OR by setting up case cart and aseptically opening instruments.
• Maintain sterile field and assist during cases with necessary tools and meds.
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments with the surgical team.
• Support the nurse circulator and communicate patient care updates.
