Job summary

Intermountain Health's St James Hospital in Montana seeks a Registered Nurse for a full-time night-shift role covering Labor & Delivery, Mom/Baby (Nursery) and NICU. OB/NICU/L&D experience preferred.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, supervise LPNs/CNAs, and participate in clinical conferences. Required: BSN from an accredited program within 4 years, Montana RN license, BLS; PALS within 9 months, NRP within 12 months, and AHWONN fetal monitoring within 12 months.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited program required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Montana RN license current at hire.
• BLS certification on hire.
• PALS within 9 months of hire/transfer.
• NRP within 12 months of hire.
• AHWONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with patients' and families' best interests in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital policies and procedures.
