Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Night shift in the OB/NICU area at St James Hospital, Butte, Montana. The role involves assessing and planning patient care, coordinating with the health team, and ensuring documentation and regulatory compliance.

Required BSN within 4 years (or equivalent experience), Montana RN license, and BLS; PALS/NRP and fetal monitoring certifications due within specified timelines. Prior OB/NICU or L&D experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited program required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License.
• BLS Certification upon hire.
• PALS required within 9 months of hire/transfer.
• NRP/Neonatal Resuscitation required within 12 months of hire.
• AHWONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with patients and families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional policies and procedures.
