Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a night-focused, full-time role in Labor & Delivery, Mom/Baby and NICU at St James Hospital in Montana. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, coordinating with the health team and ensuring adherence to guidelines.

Minimum BSN within 4 years, Montana RN license, and certifications (BLS, PALS, NRP) are required or to be obtained within specified timelines. Strong patient-family communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• BLS, PALS, NRP certifications required or completed within specified timeframes.
• AHWONN intermediate fetal monitoring certification within 12 months of hire.
• National certification in area of practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with patients and families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs; participate in team conferences.
