Job summary

Wood County Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse in the OB unit for full-time night shifts. The role emphasizes evidence-based nursing care, patient education, and collaborative practice within the Ohio Board of Nursing scope of practice.

Eligible for a $12,500 sign-on bonus. Candidates should have a nursing diploma/ADN, Ohio RN license by hire, and NRPN within 90 days. Prior labor and delivery experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma Nurse or ADN from an accredited school of nursing.
• License: Ohio Registered Nurse by time of hire.
• Certification: NRP within 90 days of hire.
• Experience: 1 year of labor and delivery (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care provided to patients.
• Maintain accurate, timely, detailed reports and records.
• Individualize care based on patient values, preferences, and needs.
• Collaborate with other health care providers to provide the best outcomes.
• Educate patients and families from admission to discharge.
• Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to our culture of safety.
