Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or associate’s degree with 5 years nursing experience.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Michigan.
• Leadership and staff development are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of assigned OB unit(s).
• Lead and develop staff; promote high-quality patient care.
• Manage budgets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
• Plan staff orientation, continuing education, and conferences.
• Ensure quality of care is monitored with action plans as needed.
• Evaluate nursing care using objective metrics and supervise delegation.
• Assist with capital needs and operating budgets for patient care.
• Handle human resource activities: interviewing, scheduling, coaching, and evaluation.
