Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains asepsis by ensuring sterile equipment does not contact unsterile items or surfaces.
• Observes and reports patient health changes to adapt the care plan as necessary.
• Performs basic scrub duties and table set-ups for procedures to provide a sterile environment.
• Gathers supplies and checks equipment to ensure materials are prepared for surgery.
• Verifies health status data with the circulating nurse to keep a detailed record of the patient's condition.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
