Job summary

CAPS & Maple City is seeking an OB Nurse to join our Goshen, Indiana team. This Level 2 position covers OB nursing and supports on the nursing floor as needed, collaborating with a cross-disciplinary care team to provide safe, comprehensive maternal care.

The role involves coordinating OB care, timely documentation, patient education, and engagement via phone, MyChart, and in-person visits. Indiana RN licensure and BLS are required; BSN is preferred, with opportunities for ongoing professional

Qualifications

• RN license in Indiana required
• BSN preferred
• BLS Certification required
• Trauma-Informed Care training preferred; training supported
• Motivational Interviewing training preferred; training supported

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with cross-disciplinary care team to address holistic OB patient needs
• Engages patients via phone, MyChart, or in-person using Motivational Interviewing and Trauma-Informed Care
• Provides OB education to patients
• Coordinates OB patient care and documentation
• Refills patient medications and supports initial OB appointments
• Attends OB meetings and collaborates with OB team
• Coordinates with outside entities for patient care
• Maintains skills competency through scheduled trainings
• Assists on nursing floor as needed
