Job summary

Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Certified Patient Care Assistant to join our Women and Infant Services Team. This part-time night-shift role supports the Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units, delivering compassionate patient care on a 12-hour schedule.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, collecting data, monitoring patients, and supporting procedures under supervision.

Qualifications

• Prior clinical experience and certification will be required.

Responsibilities

• Provides routine patient care to promote patient comfort and contribute to the overall patient plan of care.
• Collects patient data including vital signs, input/output and other delegated measurements.
• Recognizes and reports abnormalities in patient health status to licensed professionals.
• Performs procedures and uses equipment as delegated by licensed professionals.
