Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR is seeking an Ultrasound Technician for Per Diem/Day Shift. You will perform ultrasound exams per physicians' orders using advanced equipment, considering patient age and comfort for each study.

Qualifications include ARDMS eligibility, Oregon sonographer license or temporary, BLS, and timely ARDMS certification. New grads must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months; OBMI temporary license must convert to permanent within 6

Formación

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer or
• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer Temporary.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Upon hire: New graduates must be board eligible and obtain certification (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire.
• Upon hire: New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated ultrasound equipment.
• Takes into account individual patient's special or age-related needs.
