Job summary

Catholic Health is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform obstetric and gynecologic exams. You will document patient history, perform studies, and present findings to the radiologist for preliminary and final reports.

The role requires ARDMS certification or registry eligibility, completed ultrasound training, and OB/GYN experience. Flexible coverage across sites and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• ARDMS certified or registry eligible; OB/GYN registry within 12 months if eligible.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams on obstetric and gynecologic patients.
• Integrate diagnostic sonogram with patient history, medical records and labs.
• Present and prepare preliminary ultrasound findings to attending physician.
• Present preliminary findings to physician for final report.
• Assist the physician with patient care.
• Collaborate with billing/secretarial staff regarding authorizations/charges.
• Provide float coverage at other practice sites as needed.
• Provide coverage during vacations at other sites as needed.
