Job summary

Catholic Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams on obstetric and gynecologic patients. The role requires ARDMS certification or registry eligibility and OB/GYN experience.

You will integrate sonography with patient history and lab results, present preliminary findings to the attending physician, and assist with patient care across multiple sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High School dipoma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• Candidate must be ARDMS certified or ARDMS registry eligible.
• ARDMS credentials must be maintained yearly.
• OB/GYN experience for a minimum of one year.
• Fetal echo certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams on Obstetric and gynecologic patients.
• Integrate diagnostic sonogram with patients’ history, medical records and laboratory results.
• Present and prepare preliminary ultrasound findings to attending physician for final report
• Present preliminary findings to physician for final report.
• Assist the physician with patient care.
• Collaboratively work with billing/ secretarial staff in regard to authorizations/charges.
• Provide float coverage at other practice sites as needed.
• Provide coverage vacation at other sites as needed.
