Job summary

HealthOp Solutions in Chandler, AZ is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for a full-time role in an outpatient Women’s Health/OB‑GYN clinic. You will perform pelvic and obstetrical ultrasounds, obtain images and measurements, and support physicians with findings, while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Diagnostic Medical Sonography certification required
• Current CPR/BLS certification required and maintained
• Nuchal Translucency certification required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage high-pressure or emergent situations professionally
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Patient-centered approach to care

Responsibilities

• Review the daily ultrasound schedule and prepare patient and referral information
• Enter ultrasound orders to Athena to ensure system communication
• Escort patients to the ultrasound suite and explain procedures
• Prepare patients and rooms for ultrasounds and procedures
• Perform pelvic and obstetrical ultrasounds
• Capture images, measurements and Doppler samples
• Generate reports in Viewpoint and transfer data accurately
• Present images and preliminary findings to physicians when abnormalities are detected
• Complete billing for ultrasound services
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and sterilization
• Monitor ultrasound supplies and request orders as needed
• Report equipment or system issues involving GE, Philips, Viewpoint or office systems
• Participate in HIPAA and OSHA training
• Support training and mentoring of new sonographers
• Maintain professional, compassionate patient-centered care
