Job summary

Together Women’s Health, LLC seeks a full-time Ultrasound Technician for Eastside Gynecology & Obstetrics to acquire ultrasound images for medical diagnoses and perform sonography per scope and standards.

You will greet patients, verify orders, reduce anxieties, review images, document charting, and participate in quality-improvement activities within radiology. ARDMS certification and OB/GYN experience are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a certified ultrasound program.
• ARDMS certified and in good standing.
• Extensive experience in OB/GYN.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with patients in a professional and caring manner.

Responsibilities

• Greets all patients courteously and ensures that their needs are met.
• Reviews patient identification and verifies physician order.
• Gains patient cooperation by explaining imaging procedures, equipment, and answering questions.
• Reviews images, documents observations, and communicates data to physician.
• Maximizes production and quality of ultrasounds by following standards and procedures.
• Documents patient ultrasound services by completing patient record charting.
