Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for the Ultrasound Antepartum Testing department. The role performs ultrasound procedures per AIUM guidelines and collaborates with LIPs and students to ensure quality imaging.

Responsibilities include operating ultrasound equipment, obtaining images for various hospital areas, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment. ARDMS certification in OB/GYN is required within 9 months of hire.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in OB/GYN areas is required or must be obtained within 9 months of hire.
• Specialized post-secondary training is required.
• Proficiency in OB/GYN ultrasound responsibilities is expected.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized or general ultrasound procedures according to AIUM guidelines.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and records images for various hospital areas.
• Serves as a resource to Licensed Independent Practitioners and students.
• Assists in care and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area and reports hazards.
