Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized or general procedures per protocols.
• Ultrasound procedures for vascular, obstetrical, and other areas.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and portable exams.
• Records images and prints hard copies.
• Uses IDXrad to schedule exams; processes labels.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and reports hazards.
• Interviews patients and explains procedures to ensure comfort.
• Maintains patient records and statistics.
• Labels scans and provides test information to physicians.
• Maintains records and files as directed.
