Job summary

Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the OB/GYN practice. You will perform nursing duties, assess patients, educate families, and support providers with procedures and triage calls.

This on-site role emphasizes patient-centered care and teamwork within a dynamic obstetric and gynecologic setting. Requirements include an active Michigan RN license, BLS, and strong communication and data interpretation skills.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing with Michigan preferred
• BLS certification required
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving and prioritization skills
• Clear, effective communication with patients and staff; maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
• Strong computer skills and data interpretation from multiple systems

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care within the practice under provider direction
• Record vital signs and patient history; educate patients and families
• Triage calls and determine urgency and appointment needs
• Assist providers with procedures and examinations
• Prepare patients for tests, admissions, and referrals
• Document results and coordinate tests/procedures in medical records
