Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a medical degree and be licensed to practice in Michigan.
• Effective verbal and written communication with patients and staff.
• Knowledge of pharmacological agents and clinical treatment principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical patient care by interviewing, examining and treating clinical patients.
• Educate patients on wellness, prevention and early detection with resources for patients and families.
• Determine referrals based on examination and patient needs and manage follow-up timing.
• Prescribe medical treatment and clinical drugs as appropriate and order studies/tests as needed.
• Document all services in the patient medical record and maintain confidentiality.
