Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred, must obtain within 8 years of hire
• Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing for the state of Michigan
• BLS certification required
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze data from computer systems for care planning
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written and electronic)

Responsibilities

• Collect data and assess patient health using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with other professionals and delegate tasks when appropriate.
• Administer medications and treatments per policies.
• Provide patient education and family guidance.
• Document patient responses and outcomes and support discharge planning.
