Job summary

Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI seeks a focused Registered Nurse (RN) for the OB Labor and Delivery Unit. You will care for laboring patients, perform assessments, and collaborate with the care team to support safe, timely delivery and postpartum recovery.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in Nursing with RN licensure; a BSN is preferred and should be pursued within 8 years. BLS is required, with unit-specific certifications as applicable.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; must obtain within 8 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum patients.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team and document patient status.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care per standards and protocol.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and educate patient and family as appropriate.
