Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health seeks an experienced Practice Manager to oversee the Belleville OBGYN practice within the Barnabas Health Medical Group. You will lead daily operations, staff development, and financial stewardship to ensure quality patient care.

You will partner with physicians and regional leaders to drive operational excellence, improve patient experience, and align with Medical Group standards and goals. This salaried role offers day shifts and competitive rewards.

Qualifications

Associate degree required; equivalent experience may be considered.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of two years of management experience in a primary care or specialty practice.
Experience with healthcare fiscal management.
Strong leadership, coaching, conflict resolution, and team management.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily practice operations including staffing, scheduling, patient flow, deposits, and admin processes.
Lead and coach practice staff to promote accountability and development.
Partner with physicians and regional leadership to identify needs and implement solutions.
Monitor staffing levels and adjust resources to meet demand.
Support budget development and monitor expenses for financial management.
Evaluate workflows and implement practices to improve efficiency and patient experience.
Ensure operations comply with policies and healthcare standards.
Collaborate with Medical Group departments for cost-effective operations.
