Job summary

Avera Pierre Clinic in Pierre, South Dakota, seeks a physician to provide and manage direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care for patients within a recognized area of practice.

You will assess, diagnose, treat patients, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to promote quality patient care.

This role requires medical licensure, DEA registration, and commitment to safety, confidentiality, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Licensed medical doctor authorized to practice in the service state.
• Board-certification or eligibility preferred.
• DEA registration required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients according to approved protocols and standards.
• Provide medical services and health education to patients and families; promote health education.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed.
• Interpret diagnostic information and formulate care plans.
• Maintain patient records and coordinate referrals with care team.
