Job summary

Avera Pierre Clinic in Pierre, SD is seeking a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy to provide and manage direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, and care for patients within a defined practice area.

You will perform diagnostics, procedures, educate patients and families, maintain records, and collaborate with the care team while meeting safety and regulatory standards. On-call duties and adherence to CARE values are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Licensed Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy in the practicing state.
• Board certification or eligibility required.
• Active DEA license required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients per physician protocol and standards.
• Provide medical services and patient/family education.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure quality care and referrals.
