Job summary

Avera Obstetrics & Gynecology Aberdeen in Aberdeen, SD is hiring a full-time physician to provide and manage direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care for patients within obstetrics and gynecology.

The position includes primarily day shifts with night, weekend, and holiday on-call involvement in the United States. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to move health forward and ensure high-quality patient care while maintaining safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• MD/DO licensed to practice in the service state.
• DEA license required at hire.
• Board certification or eligibility pursued as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients per approved protocols.
• Provides medical services and health education to patients and families.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed.
• Interprets diagnostic information and plans care.
• Maintains patient records and ensures safety standards.
