Job summary

Avera Obstetrics & Gynecology Aberdeen in Aberdeen, SD seeks a licensed physician to provide and manage direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care for patients within obstetrics and gynecology.

You will assess, diagnose, treat patients, perform diagnostic procedures, and contribute to health education while maintaining patient records and ensuring safety and care standards. Collaboration with the care team is essential to deliver quality care.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor licensed to practice medicine in the service state.
• Doctor of Osteopathy licensed or eligible to practice medicine in the service state.
• DEA license (federal/state) required or eligible, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients per approved protocols and standards.
• Provides medical services and health education to patients and families.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Interprets diagnostic information and plans patient care.
• Maintains patient records with accurate information.
• Promotes safety, environment of care, and adherence to policies.
• Collaborates with the care team to ensure quality patient care and referrals.

Education

Medical Doctor - Board of Medicine Licensed

Doctor of Osteopathy - board certified/eligible

Federal Drug Enforcement Admin license (DEA)
