Job summary

Tufts Medicine - Lowell General Hospital seeks a board-certified/eligible OB/GYN to join a premier practice in the Greater Lowell area. You will provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care with shared call coverage and strong on-site support from Tufts specialists.

This position offers a four-day work week, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and access to a modern Birthing Center with extensive on-site anesthesia and neonatology services.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN.
• Completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Experience or interest in robotics is a plus but not required.
• Background supporting a community-based outpatient practice is a plus.
• Holds or is eligible for a current Massachusetts medical license.
• Team player who collaborates across disciplines to champion patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of obstetrical and gynecological care.
• Shared hospital call with OB Hospitalist support.
• Work closely with a large, multidisciplinary provider team.
• Access to a state-of-the-art Birthing Center with private labor/delivery rooms and dedicated OB operating rooms.

Location: Lowell, MA (Tufts Medicine - Lowell General Hospital)
Job Type: Full-Time (4-day work week)

About the Position:

• Access to a state-of-the-art Birthing Center, including:

  • 12 private labor & delivery rooms

  • 2 dedicated OB operating rooms

  • OB emergency room

  • Level II-B Special Care Nursery

  • In-house anesthesia and neonatology coverage

• For clinician educators: Academic appointment available. Opportunity to teach medical students and residents from Tufts University School of Medicine in both surgical and outpatient settings

Who You Are:
