Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking an obstetrician-gynecologist to provide a full spectrum of OB/GYN care in Lowell, MA, with shared call and support from a large, multidisciplinary team. This role offers a 4-day work week and opportunities for academic appointment with Tufts University School of Medicine.

The position requires board certification/eligibility in OB/GYN, completed residency, and MA license or eligibility.

• Completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Massachusetts medical license or eligible.
• Experience with robotics is a plus but not required.
• Team player with cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide full obstetrical and gynecological care.
• Shared hospital call with OB Hospitalist support.
• Work with a large multidisciplinary provider team.
• Teach medical students and residents (academic appointment available).

About the Position

• Provide a full range of obstetrical and gynecological care
• Shared hospital call with dedicated OB Hospitalist support
• Work closely with a large, multidisciplinary provider team
• Access to a state-of-the-art Birthing Center, including:
  • 12 private labor & delivery rooms
  • 2 dedicated OB operating rooms
  • OB emergency room
  • Level II-B Special Care Nursery
  • In-house anesthesia and neonatology coverage
• For clinician educators: Academic appointment available. Opportunity to teach medical students and residents from Tufts University School of Medicine in both surgical and outpatient settings

Who You Are

• Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN
• Completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Experience or interest in robotics is a plus but not required
• Background supporting a community-based outpatient practice is a plus
• Holds or is eligible for a current Massachusetts medical license
• A team player who collaborates across disciplines to champion exceptional patient care and satisfaction

The salary range for this position is $325,000 to $350,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, internal equity, and academic rank.
