Job summary

Lowell General Hospital is seeking an OB/GYN Physician to provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. The position offers a 4-day work week with shared call coverage and on-site OB Hospitalist support.

There is access to a state-of-the-art Birthing Center, including Da Vinci robotic system, and potential academic appointments with Tufts University School of Medicine. Competitive salary and benefits follow.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN.
• Completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Experience or interest in robotics is a plus but not required.
• Background supporting a community-based outpatient practice is a plus.
• Holds or is eligible for a Massachusetts medical license.
• A team player who collaborates across disciplines to champion exceptional patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of obstetrical and gynecological care
• Shared hospital call with dedicated OB Hospitalist support
• Work closely with a large, multidisciplinary provider team
• Access to a state-of-the-art Birthing Center with L&D, ORs, NICU and on-site anesthesia and neonatology
• Academic appointment available to teach Tufts University School of Medicine students and residents

About the Position

Salary

The salary range for this position is $325,000 to $350,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, internal equity, and academic rank.
