Job summary

Ascension is seeking an OB/GYN physician to join the team at Ascension Seton Hays in Kyle, TX. This full-time role offers a robust benefits package and a strong referral network within a leading health system.

You will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a busy practice, collaborating with CNMs and other providers to ensure high-quality outcomes. This position supports ongoing professional development and superior patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed physician in Texas.
• MD or DO degree required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered obstetrics and gynecology care across life stages.
• Collaborate with CNMs, APRNs, OB hospitalists and nursing staff for holistic care.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records reflecting the patient care journey.
• Lead quality improvement to enhance patient safety and care efficiency.

Champion a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach by partnering seamlessly with certified nurse midwives, advanced practice providers, OB hospitalist, and nursing staff to provide holistic and efficient patient care.

Elevate clinical documentation standards by maintaining accurate, timely electronic medical records that reflect the patient's true care journey and support seamless continuity of care.

• 1 in 6 call rotation with Certified Nurse Midwife night coverage

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
