Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 3-5 years related work experience required and 0-1 years supervisory/management experience.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and strong MS Office skills.
• Advanced skills with web-based applications and scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Assumes accountability for the efficient, effective function of the scheduling staff.
• Oversees scheduling for three OR sites with accurate staffing deployment.
• Develops quality measures for performance and serves as a training resource.
• Ensures data accuracy and generates scheduling reports for OR and clinics.
• Coordinates with admissions, nursing, anesthesia and OR leadership to resolve conflicts.
