University of Maryland Faculty Physicians, Inc. is seeking a Nursing Clinical Supervisor for OB/GYN.

This part-time role (24 hours per week) centers on centralized oversight, standardizing nursing workflows, and ensuring high-quality patient care across locations. Responsibilities include supervising RNs, developing policies, evaluating performance, coordinating patient care, and maintaining safe environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required. BSN preferred.
• Current licensure in the State of Maryland as a Registered Nurse is required
• CPR certification is required
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a clinical environment
• Previous supervisory experience highly desired

Responsibilities

• Provides direct supervision of the clinical staff including staff assignments.
• Develops policies and procedures related to the lab and clinical duties.
• Evaluates job performance for the clinical staff.
• Supervises and provides direct patient care in accordance with accepted clinical standards while utilizing the department process.
• Makes rounds to assure the quality and appropriateness of patient care and identifies improvement areas.
