Job summary

Alomere Health in Minnesota seeks a Manager of Obstetrics and Gynecology to lead the OB/GYN department. The role reports to the Director of Obstetrics/Gynecology and focuses on planning, implementing, administering and evaluating patient care delivery in OB/GYN.

You will apply professional nursing theory, administrative leadership, and fiscal management to support staff development and high-quality patient care. A RN license and OB/GYN experience are required.

Qualifications

Proven excellence in leadership, management and teaching abilities.
Knowledge of obstetrics/gynecology nursing practices.
Ability to lead and mentor nursing staff.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and management for the Obstetrics and Gynecology department.
Work cooperatively with medical staff to provide patient services.
Assist in budget development and monitoring for the department.
Guide, coach, develop and counsel unit staff; ensure staff competence.
Maintain staffing compliance within regulatory requirements and budget considerations.
Serve on hospital committees and act as a role model for staff.
Perform related duties and support mission, values and policies.
