Job summary

Columbia University in New York is seeking an OB/GYN Nurse Manager to lead supervision of clinical staff and oversee nursing care across outpatient OB/GYN practices. You will coordinate with clinicians and managers to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and efficient operations.

The role requires a BSN or equivalent, NY RN license, ACLS, and 4+ years in a relevant setting; Master’s degree preferred. Strong leadership, teaching, and EPIC experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent required; NY RN license.
• ACLS certification required; strong clinical skills in high-volume setting.
• Minimum of 4 years related experience in obstetrics/gynecology or acute care.
• Master's degree preferred; leadership and teaching abilities encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall clinical management and nursing care planning across OB/GYN practices.
• Collaborate with clinicians and managers to maintain service quality per guidelines.
• Develop standardized patient care processes across multiple facilities.
• Lead staffing, scheduling, and training to ensure coverage and performance.
• Coordinate EPIC documentation optimization and staff training.
• Promote patient-centered, evidence-based care and a positive work culture.
• Engage in department/hospital initiatives and compliance activities.
