Job summary
Allina Health's OB Hospitalist team provides in-house obstetrical coverage of the labor and delivery unit, antepartum and postpartum units, and triage areas across Minnesota. Qualifications
- Active, non-restricted MN medical license (or ability to obtain).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN on hire.
- Current BLS certification required (AHA or Red Cross) or via in-house training.
- DEA registration and NPI registration required on hire.
- Completion of ACGME/AOA OB/GYN residency.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient OB/GYN care: labor & delivery, postpartum, obstetric emergencies and gynecologic consultations.
- Serve as a 24/7 hospitalist, caring for assigned and unassigned patients with rapid response to high-acuity cases.
- Collaborate with Maternal-Fetal Medicine, CNMs, Family Medicine OB physicians and community providers.
- Utilize Epic/Excellian within a shared day, night, weekend and holiday coverage model.
