Job summary

Unitek Learning seeks a Women’s Health Nurse/Instructor with no prior teaching exp required. This campus, part-time role offers hourly compensation of USD 55–70. The RN instructor will teach nursing students in classroom and clinical settings with emphasis on obstetrics and patient care.

You will collaborate with faculty, evaluate student performance, and contribute to curriculum development and program assessment. Full-time, part-time, and per-diem options are available.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid, active RN license in good standing.
• Master of Nursing or higher degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least four years’ experience as an RN providing direct patient care.
• Clinical teaching experience or willingness to teach within the last five years.
• Expertise in OB-Gyn, Pediatrics, Psychiatric, or Med/Surg as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Teach and supervise nursing students in classroom and clinical settings, focusing on obstetrics.
• Collaborate with faculty to develop, administer, and grade course materials and examinations.
• Evaluate student performance and maintain attendance, grades, and clinical skills records.
• Participate in curriculum development, quality improvement initiatives, and program assessment.
• Orient and mentor new faculty members in theory and clinical instruction.
• Utilize adult learning principles and integrate technology in teaching methods.
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing practices, technologies, and safety regulations in obstetrics.
• Participate in faculty meetings, committee activities, and student advising.
• Ensure clinical assignments meet learning objectives and facility requirements.
• Submit required reports and forms to the program director timely.
• Maintain professional development and contribute to the nursing program's mission and goals.
