MaineHealth John F. Andrews Health Center, Saint Andrews Campus, is seeking a Per Diem, day shift Registered Nurse for outpatient Primary Care.

You will build meaningful relationships with patients while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care alongside a collaborative care team. As a Primary Care RN, you’ll perform assessments, provide telephone triage, administer medications and immunizations, assist with procedures, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Current RN license in the applicable state. BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Experience: One year of RN experience required; automatic advancement from RN I after onboarding requirements.

Join the Primary Care team located in the MaineHealth John F. Andrews Health Center on the MaineHealth Saint Andrews Campus as a Per Diem, day shift Registered Nurse and become part of a collaborative team dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care.

As a Primary Care RN, you'll work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, medical assistants, and other members of the care team to support patients across all stages of life.

You’ll perform patient assessments, provide telephone triage, administer medications and immunizations, assist with procedures, coordinate care, provide patient and family education, and help patients manage acute and chronic health conditions.

This role offers the opportunity to use a broad range of nursing skills while developing lasting relationships with patients and families. Every day brings opportunities to promote preventive care, support chronic disease management, educate patients, coordinate services, and serve as a trusted resource throughout each patient's healthcare journey.

Working as a Per Diem, day shift RN provides flexibility while allowing you to continue using your clinical expertise in a supportive outpatient environment.

You’ll work alongside an experienced team that values collaboration, communication, and relationship-centered care.

This is a Registered Nurse 2 vacancy open to candidates with greater than 1 year of RN work experience.

Summary

The MH Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Care role provides high quality care to patients and families calling or presenting for care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.
MH RN II: This level is competent in their clinical role and has demonstrated the ability to care for most patients assigned. Though not able to care for every patient type within their area of hire, demonstrates how to obtain the appropriate resources to develop required skills and knowledge over time. This level included automatic advancement after 1 year as a RN I - must be in good standing and meets RN I requirements.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  3. Experience: One year of recent RN experience required. Automatic advancement from RN I level if all onboarding requirements are complete, including the New Grad Residency (where available).

The pay range for this position is $34.35to $46.46 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
