Job summary

VillageMD in New Jersey seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to support patients and provide exceptional care coordination. You will greet patients, prepare examination rooms, and assist providers with medication administration and lab tasks.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS preferred, and experience in primary care or urgent care settings. Fluency in Spanish is a plus; environment is fast-paced and team-focused.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required/active.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• BLS certification preferred; must obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and prepares patients for appointments.
• Administers PO, IM, ID medications per provider directions.
• Performs point-of-care lab tests and EKGs as ordered.
• Collects vital signs, histories, and screenings.
• Provides patient education on medications and diet.
• Performs phlebotomy and processes specimens.
• Cleans and maintains treatment rooms and equipment.
• Manages prescription refills per direction.
