Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Float OBGYN RN in New Providence, NJ, with duties spanning multiple OBGYN offices including Westfield, Warren, and Florham Park. You will support patients, prepare for visits, and facilitate excellent patient experiences.

The role requires an RN license, BLS, and phlebotomy experience; 1 year in related care is preferred. Competitive benefits and family-friendly policies are offered.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• BLS certification preferred; must obtain within 90 days of employment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in primary care, family practice, internal medicine, urgent care, or ER preferred.
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient support and communication to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments; inform about services.
• Administer PO, IM, and ID medications as directed by the Provider.
• Perform point-of-care tests and EKGs as ordered.
• Collect and document vital signs, histories, and screenings.
• Instruct patients on medications and diet; authorize refills as directed.
• Prepare exam rooms and supplies; assist with procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy and process specimens.
• Maintain clean treatment rooms and equipment; conduct quality checks.
