Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is hiring a Medical Assistant to welcome patients, document histories, and support exams and testing. You will administer medications, relay results, and educate families on health management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• MA program/externship/internship or EMT/Paramedic training preferred.
• Credentialed MA or active EMS/Paramedic licensure desired.
• MA credentials CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA/CMAC accepted if credentialed.

Responsabilités

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments and procedures.
• Collect and document histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and assist with diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care and act as liaison between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
