Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant for Platte Valley Hospital OB-GYN in Brighton, Colorado. The role supports our clinical team in ambulatory care, assisting providers, gathering visit information, and communicating with patients by phone or in person.

The candidate should have a Medical Assistant program completion or MA experience, BLS certification, basic computer skills, and a professional, patient‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Completed Medical Assistant program or one year MA experience or RN/LPN license.
• Current BLS certification for healthcare providers; must be obtained prior to start date.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver the highest level of customer/patient satisfaction.
• Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and PHI.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction of the clinician, assisting the provider to gather information relevant to the patient visit and condition.
• Communicate clearly with patients seeking care through telephone and in-person interactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support patient care; attention to detail and follow-through are essential.
