Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for a high-volume ambulatory clinic. You will provide patient care under a clinician's direction and support the care team in a fast-paced environment.

Expect 40 hours per week with four 10-hour shifts, rotating days off, at Intermountain Medical Center's OBGYN unit in Murray, UT. Education advancement and education assistance are available as part of our growth culture.

Qualifications

• Proof of completion of a Medical Assistant program OR at least one year MA experience OR RN/LPN license in Utah.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers prior to start date.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills for word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work with patients and caregivers to deliver top patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians to gather information relevant to the patient visit and condition.
• Communicate clearly with patients via telephone and in-person interactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support patient care and workflow.
