Aurora Medical Group (AMG) is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the care team across multiple locations in Illinois. The role involves clinical and administrative tasks vital to patient care, with a focus on professionalism, patient confidentiality, and compassionate service.

You will work Monday through Friday, starting as early as 7am and ending as late as 7pm, with a schedule planned one month in advance.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience, to qualify.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Mansioni

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point‑of‑care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high‑quality, coordinated care.
