Job summary

Aurora Medical Group (AMG) in Mount Prospect, IL, is hiring a Medical Assistant for a full-time, 40-hour week. The role requires a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of MA experience or certification, with phlebotomy skills preferred.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7a–6p, with one Saturday per month 9a–1p. You will welcome patients, take vital signs, prepare exams, assist providers, administer vaccines, perform lab tasks, document in the EHR, and collaborate with clinicians to deliver coordinated,

Qualifications

Must have a Medical Assistant diploma or 2 years of MA experience or be a certified MA with 2 years MA experience.
Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
