Job summary

Advocate Health's Aurora Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant in Chicago, full-time, to support care teams in obstetrics/gynecology. You will welcome patients, record vitals, prepare exam rooms, assist providers, and document in the electronic health record.

Required: a medical assistant diploma or 2 years MA experience (or certified MA with 2 years), plus OB or women's health clinic experience. Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends; base pay range listed with benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• OB experience preferred in Women’s Health or OB clinic.
• Candidate should have Medical Assistant diploma or MA certification with 2 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and support transition into care.
• Record vital signs, histories, and screenings.
• Prepare for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications/vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab tasks and document in EHR.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses for coordinated care.
