Workforce Recruiter in Munster, IN is seeking a Laborist for a full-time, permanent inpatient Obstetrics and Gynecology role. You will provide high-quality obstetric and gynecologic care, manage labor and deliveries, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a tech-forward hospital.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology with a plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration or eligibility.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools; strong EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including managing active labor, routine deliveries, and emergency procedures (e.g., C-sections).
• Maintain a highly predictable schedule: 144 hours of service per month (1,728 hours/year).
• Manage phone availability aligned with hospitalist shifts and patient triage.
• Utilize EPIC EMR with AI features to streamline documentation and workflows.
• Serve as in-house clinical leader for obstetric emergencies and admissions, coordinating with MFM, pediatrics, and APPs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary hospital teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
