Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General seeks an Ob/Gyn Hospitalist for the New Life Center, a Level 3 Perinatal Center with ~1800 deliveries/year. Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with hospital-based obstetrical/acute gynecologic care experience is required.

Responsibilities include supervision of residents and students, coordination with MFM, and ongoing obstetric consultations across the hospital. Academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University is available.

Qualifications

• Board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with clinical leadership in hospital obstetric and acute gynecologic care.
• Experience supervising residents and medical students in academic setting.
• Academic appointment at a medical university is available.

Responsibilities

• Supervise OB/GYN care in the Obstetric Emergency Department, Labor and Delivery, and perinatal safety.
• Respond to OB/GYN emergencies and oversee admissions from Women's Health Clinic and walk-ins.
• Provide OB/GYN consultations and collaborate with Maternal Fetal Medicine and family medicine services.
