Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Akron General Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is recruiting an Ob/Gyn Hospitalist for the New Life Center, a Level 3 Perinatal Center with ~1800 deliveries/year. The hospitalist will supervise obstetric care, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with Maternal Fetal Medicine, teaching residents and students.

Faculty appointment at Northeastern Ohio Medical University is available.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Experience supervising residents and medical students.
• Support full scope of hospital-based obstetrical and acute gynecologic care.
• Leadership role in patient care and academic activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise OB/GYN departments and perinatal safety.
• Respond to OB/GYN emergencies and admissions.
• Provide teaching to residents and medical students.
• Coordinate with Maternal Fetal Medicine for transfers.
